وَلَيْسَتِ ٱلتَّوْبَةُ لِلَّذِينَ يَعْمَلُونَ ٱلسَّيِّـَٔاتِ حَتَّىٰٓ إِذَا حَضَرَ أَحَدَهُمُ ٱلْمَوْتُ قَالَ إِنِّى تُبْتُ ٱلْـَٰٔنَ وَلَا ٱلَّذِينَ يَمُوتُونَ وَهُمْ كُفَّارٌ ۚ أُو۟لَٰٓئِكَ أَعْتَدْنَا لَهُمْ عَذَابًا أَلِيمًا
English - Hazrat Molavi Sher Ali ra
There is no acceptance of repentance for those who continue to do evil until, when death faces one of them, he says, ‘I do repent now;’ nor for those who die disbelievers. It is these for whom We have prepared a painful punishment.
اردو ترجمہ مرزا طاہر احمد خلیفة المسیح الرابعؒ
اور ان لوگوں کی کوئی توبہ نہیں جو بدیاں کرتے ہیں یہاں تک کہ ان میں سے جب کسی کو موت آجائے تو وہ کہتا ہے میں اب ضرور توبہ کرتا ہوں۔ اور نہ ان لوگوں کی توبہ ہے جو اس حالت میں مر جاتے ہیں کہ وہ کفار ہوں۔ یہی وہ لوگ ہیں جن کے لئے ہم نے درد ناک عذاب تیار کر رکھا ہے۔
French
Il n’y a pas d’acceptation de repentir pour ceux qui continuent à faire le mal, jusqu’au moment où la mort se présente à l’un d’entre eux et où il dit : « Je me repens maintenant » ; ni pour ceux qui meurent mécréants. Pour ceux-là, Nous avons préparé un châtiment douloureux.

Doch Vergebung ist nicht für jene, die so lange Böses tun, bis zuletzt, wenn der Tod einem von ihnen naht, er spricht: "Ich bereue nun", noch für die, die als Ungläubige sterben. Ihnen haben Wir schmerzliche Strafe bereitet.

Pero no se aceptará el arrepentimiento de los que persisten haciendo el mal hasta que la muerte se presenta ante uno de ellos y dice: “Ahora me arrepiento”; ni de los que mueren en la incredulidad. Para ellos hemos preparado un doloroso castigo.
اردو تفسیرِ صغیر
اور توبہ (کے قبول ہونے کا حق) ان لوگوں کے لئے نہیں جو بدیاں کرتے (چلے جاتے) ہیں۔ یہاں تک کہ جب ان میں سے کسی کے سامنے موت (کی گھڑی) آجاتی ہے تو کہتا ہے کہ میں نے اب یقیناً توبہ کر لی ہے اور نہ ان لوگوں کے لئے ہے جو کفر (ہی) کی حالت میں مر جاتے ہیں۔ یہ لوگ ایسے ہیں کہ ہم نے ان کے لئے دردناک عذاب تیار کر رکھا ہے۔

مگر توبہ اُن لوگوں کے لیے نہیں ہے جو برے کام کیے چلے جاتے ہیں یہاں تک کہ جب ان میں سے کسی کی موت وقت آ جاتا ہے اُس وقت وہ کہتا ہے کہ اب میں نے توبہ کی، اور اسی طرح توبہ اُن کے لیے بھی نہیں ہے جو مرتے دم تک کافر رہیں ا یسے لوگوں کے لیے تو ہم نے درد ناک سزا تیار کر رکھی ہے

But repentance is not [accepted] of those who [continue to] do evil deeds up until, when death comes to one of them, he says, "Indeed, I have repented now," or of those who die while they are disbelievers. For them We have prepared a painful punishment.

But God shall not turn towards those who do evil deeds until, when one of them is visited by death, he says, 'Indeed now I repent,' neither to those who die disbelieving; for them We have prepared a painful chastisement.
